How do I place my order online?
Placing your order online at Retrocollector is very simple, just browse our product selection and click the 'add to cart' button next to the item you are interested in. The item will then be transferred into your shopping cart.
You may then continue shopping and add more products to your cart or if you have finished shopping, go to the checkout.
After clicking on the proceed to checkout button, you will proceed to the billing information page where you may select your method of payment and enter your billing and shipping details. Upon clicking continue, you will be asked to review your order carefully, and if all information is correct click pay to confirm your order. Your order is then complete and you will receive an email receipt for the transaction that confirms the payment.
Will my card details be secure if I order online?
Yes, your card and contact details are secure when you place your order online at Retrocollector as our whole shopping cart is a secure area and fully operated by Paypal (check the security padlock at the bottom right of the screen and the prefix https of the address in your browser address bar when you enter your shopping cart and checkout pages.) Paypal automatically encrypts information in transit using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL). For further information please visit the Paypal website or contact them directly.
This means all your contact details are held securely. Only when you are on the Paypal secure payment page (again you can see the golden padlock and the https prefix), will you enter your card details, which means that only Paypal hold your card details and no one else has access to them, including us.
Which payment methods can I use?
You can pay for your order by credit card, debit card, or Paypal.
Can I order outside the UK and will you ship internationally?
Yes, we accept international orders and ship worldwide, with a couple of exceptions. Please check our shipping page for more information.
Will my details be kept private?
Yes, your details will always be kept private by Retrocollector. We will only use your details for the purpose you provided them for (such as delivery), and we do not share, sell or swap your details with third parties.
How long will delivery take?
As every item is hand picked, checked, packed and wrapped to ensure it reaches you in top condition, orders are generally shipped out within 5 days, but we do try to get orders sent out faster than this. You should allow a further 2 days for UK delivery, 5 days for European delivery and 16 days for international delivery.
What if I have not received my order?
If your order has not arrived after 28 days then we can initiate a claim via the appropriate courier. As soon as this has been settled we will offer a refund or a replacement.
Can I return an order?
Yes, all of our items sold at Retrocollector are covered by our no quibble refund policy.
You have 7 days from the day of receipt to return any unwanted goods and they must be returned in their original condition and packaging for a full refund. Unfortunately, we cannot refund postage or packaging. Please note refunds will only be paid after the return has been received.
If the return is due to error, shipping charge will be refunded.
Goods must be returned by the same method they were dispatched to you (recorded signed for) and please keep your receipt and certificate of posting from the post office in a safe place. They are your proof of posting should your return go missing in transit. We will not be held responsible for returns that are lost during shipping.
What if my order is damaged in transit?
If you receive a damaged delivery, don't worry...Please email us at retrocollectoruk@gmail.com within 48 hours of receipt of the goods so we can rectify the problem.
If the goods are damaged we will either ask you to retain them so that your local postal service can inspect them or ask you to return the goods to us.
If we ask you to return goods, please do so within 10 days. It is imperative the goods are returned with the original packaging and returned by the same method they were dispatched to you (recorded signed for). Please retain your proof of posting. We will of course refund your return postage costs upto the value dispatched postage costs unless instructed otherwise.
Overseas customers should not return any damaged goods to us in the first instance, but await our instructions.
